Meet Mike McRae
Mike has 20-years of experience as a general contractor, with the last 10 years focused on buying distressed real estate, remodeling it, and putting it back on the market in pristine condition. The term “flipping houses” is not in his vocabulary - he fully renovates each home, making safety the top priority followed by craftmanship that’s nothing less than exceptional. His small business has been wildly successful in the last two decades based solely on word of mouth from clients, which says a lot about his work ethic and quality of work.
As a real estate broker, Mike has a unique edge. Since he’s bought, remodeled, and sold over 30 homes in the past, taking all the risk himself, he is a force to be reckoned within the industry. He knows all the ins and outs, giving him the ability to use his wealth of knowledge for his clients’ successes. Mike is a family man that prides himself on honesty, open communication, and hard work.

REAL ESTATE
Real estate is our passion. It’s what we love. When you work with us, we work to tell the story of your home. We offer home auditing, home staging, professional photography, interior and exterior design advice, and digital and traditional marketing campaigns that will stand out to your target audience. And since I have a vast background as a general contractor, I can see things about a home that most people can’t - from structural to interior design. I am able to offer my wealth of construction knowledge to help potential buyers see themselves and their options in the space.
GENERAL CONTRACTING
I’m a licensed, bonded and insured general contractor. I’ve been in the business for 20 years and have done it all: roofing, siding, demo, paint, millwork, flooring…you name it. I can build a house from the ground up. When you hire me as a general contractor, I’m your “go-to” throughout the entire project, and I’m always on the jobsite to ensure you don’t have to fret. Not only do I have a loyal, exceptional team of sub-contractors, but I set the standard for cost control and, most importantly, I’m always in communication with you.
FIXER UPPERS
Over the course of 10 years, we’ve bought, remodeled and sold over 30 homes. Many people know this as “flipping houses.” We do not use that term because we believe in fully renovating each home, which means we do not skip steps or settle for mediocre work. And when you put months of hard labor and your very own money into a fixer upper, it truly makes you appreciate a hard day’s work AND the value of a dollar. We couldn’t be more proud to put our McRae Homes name on each and every one of our fixer uppers.
