Bump Out or Addition
A “bump-out” offers a simple solution to the conflict of space versus money: you want more space in your house, but it costs more than your budget. If you need more space adding an addition - a whole room tacked onto the side of the house, typically one bedroom or one bathroom. But, if you don’t need that much space (or your trying to stay within your budget), a bump out might solve the problem for you while staying under budget.
